Sometimes, the old ones really are the best!

We’ve never known a busier run-in to the year-end so it’s a case of all hands on deck and of calling in some old friends from retirement – in this case K100 SAW, a 1992 Scania 143 which we have owned from new.

The vehicle has covered an astonishing  1.7 million kilometres in its time, delivering sawn timber to our customers throughout the UK. Thanks to a lot of respect and TLC (the way we treat all our pensioners!) it’s good for more service yet as it comes out of retirement today to tip a trailer of logs. What a picture!
